TERMS &
CONDITIONS

In the interests of the comfort, safety, and relaxation of all our guests we ask that the following guidelines are followed at all times.

Club Opening Hours

Member’s Areas: Daily from 6am – 10pm 

Gym Facilities: Daily from 6am – 10pm 

Spa Treatments: Daily from 9am – 9pm 

General

  • Club membership is a form of payment, and as such, cannot be cancelled. Membership is non-transferable and cannot be refunded.

    Bearing in mind that the capacities of the WEST 65 WELLNESS & SPA center is limited, guests are obligated to activate membership immediately upon approval and date of payment, otherwise the guest will lose the right of membership or return of payment.

    Guests who use the WEST 65 WELLNESS & SPA centre services on the basis of purchased vouchers, are obliged to use vouchers/services no later than 6 months from the date of purchase, otherwise they lose the right to use their services.

    Vouchers are non-refundable. 
  • Club membership is a one off payment and as such cannot be cancelled once purchased. The membership is non-refundable and non-transferable.
  • All payments are in dinars.
  • Payments are in cash or credit card. Personal cheques are not accepted.
  • Membership Card must be assigned at the Club’s reception desk upon arrival and departure.
  • If the member does not have the card available, West 65 Wellness & Spa representatives may ask for his/her membership number and/or surname. This will enable reception to track his/her presence in the facility in the event of an emergency.
  • If a member misplaces or loses his/her membership card, he/she should immediately report the loss to the Club Manager.
    Another card will be issued to the member at the then-applicable replacement cost.
  • The Club and its environs are strictly NO SMOKING areas.
  • We do not allow mobile phones in spa areas, please leave them switched off.
  • Please conduct all conversations at levels consistent.
  • The Club & its facilities are open to people aged 16 and over.
  • It is strictly prohibited that any other persons of Members: family, friends, partners, colleagues, or any other related visitors use any of the Club’s facilities without previous enrolment at West 65 Wellness & Spa.
  • Shower towels and bath robes can be given by the West 65 Wellness & Spa reception, please do not take shower towels outside – a face towel is provided in the fitness area.
  • The club is not liable for any loss or damage associated with the use of the lockers.
  • Lockers are for daily use only. Leaving clothes and other items in the lockers overnight is prohibited. Your personal belonging will be removed from the locker.
  • Shaving is permitted in the male changing rooms. However, please ensure that wet vanity areas are left clean.
  • Razors should not be placed in any of the waste bins and shaving is strictly prohibited in the saunas and steam rooms.
  • Please place all used towels in the baskets provided.
  • Refreshments are available in the relaxation areas and the Club’s lounge.
    All guests will be required to complete and sign a health & lifestyle questionnaire upon arrival and prior to entrance to the Club’s facilities.
  • If you have a gift voucher please remember to bring this with you on the day to hand to Reception.
  • Pets are not allowed within the Club and its environs.
  • All facilities are subject to availability.
  • Your comments are always welcome.

Types of memberships

  • Single Memberships are available for any individual aged 18 and above.
  • Joint Memberships are available for live-in or married couples.
  • Family Memberships are available for couple adults and one or more children aged 16-18 and those at university.
  • Corporate Membership

 

Corporate membership conditions:

  • The minimum number of persons required to qualify for corporate membership is five (5).
  • The rates for corporate memberships are available upon request.
  • All members applying for corporate membership must be from the same company.
  • A letter (on company letter-head signed by the appropriate authority) must accompany each application and must

               confirm that the applicant for the corporate membership programme is an employee, or eligible dependent of the company.

  • Each company must appoint a representative for the corporate group who is an employee of the company and who

               will liaise directly with the club in all matters concerning the group.

  • Membership rates depend on the number of members in the corporate group at the time the corporate

               membership application is approved.

  • Discounted rates will be applied only to subsequent members who become part of the corporate group

               and to existing members who renew their memberships.

  • Should the membership programme of a particular corporation terminate or expire, the corporate members

               remains subject to the West 65 Wellness & Spa Rules and Regulations.

  • However, all privileges particular to corporate membership end at expiration or termination of membership

               and may not be renewed under the terms of the relevant corporate group.

When using the swimming pool and other facilities

  • Always shower before using pool facilities and between sauna and steam rooms. A robe & slippers should be worn in all spa areas.
  • Swimwear is compulsory in Steam, Sauna and pool areas.
  • A towel should always be placed between you and the sauna benches.
  • Please do not leave toiletries in showers or wet vanity areas.
  • Please do NOT add oils or other products to the sauna bucket water without first speaking to a member of staff.
  • Please ensure you drink plenty of fluid to re-hydrate after use of the sauna and steam rooms.
  • Food & drink should not be brought in the pool area.
  • Please read and observe the notices displayed in the swimming pool area.
  • Swimming is at your own risk. No Lifeguard on duty – floatation devices and any other rescue items are for emergency use only.
  • Diving, running, loud noise and nude bathing are prohibited in the swimming pool.

When Exercising

  • When exercising you should wear appropriate outfit. Exercising in suit and jeans is not allowed for your own safety.
  • All personal belongings should be kept in the locker whilst exercising. Back packs are not allowed on the workout floor and should be kept in the locker.
  • This is a non-threatening environment. Dropping weights whilst exercising, emotional outbursts and loud grunting are discouraged. Loud and offensive behaviour or language are prohibited.
  • You should always respect the person who is exercising next to you.
  • Whilst using the equipment all members are responsible for their own health.
  • Do not exercise if you have consumed alcohol, drugs or medication within the last three hours. If you have consumed more than two drinks we discourage exercising for the day.
  • If, for any reason you feel dizzy or faint, please stop exercising and consult a fitness instructor.
  • If, the fitness area is not supervised, do not exercise alone.
  • Each training equipment had instructions for use. Please follow strictly the instructions or consult a fitness instructor if you are unfamiliar.
  • We advise not to use any equipment to make breaks between your sets.
  • If, you have been on the cardio equipment longer than 30minutes and other members are waiting for the specific machine, please allow them to use it.
  • Using weights while on cardio equipment is prohibited.
  • Personal fitness equipment, weights, benches and other equipment are prohibited within the Club and its environs.

Please respect the rules of the Club and the staff who is working to satisfy you! West 65 Wellness & Spa has a right to refuse to provide any of its services to potential clients for which it believes are not going to behave in accordance with these regulations, whose presence in the premises of West 65 Wellness & Spa can have a negative impact on other members or employees, as well as on the proper functioning of the West 65 Wellness & Spa.

The management of West 65 Wellness & Spa reserves the right to cancel any membership in breach of rules and/or conduct without any prior notice. Should it be the case that the cancelation of membership is made due to the breach of the regulations made by the member, the member is not entitled to ask for the part of membership fee for the period not used by the member to be paid back to him by West 65 Wellness & Spa.
