Medical Wellness
What exactly is Medical Wellness?
Medical Wellness offers the guest a therapeutic effect in addition to relaxation and well-being. This can be achieved, for example, through the use of effective, natural products such as moor mud, clay, mud, hay or algae.
Hay Therapy – proven therapy from the Alps
Our wonderfully fragrant Alpine hay comes from the Salzburg area. We only harvest from unfertilized, lush meadows that have a naturally occurring, colorful variety of mountain flowers, Alpine medicinal herbs and grasses such as yarrow, chamomile, sweet clover or St. John’s wort. It is precisely this variety that makes our therapeutic hay so effective. Even during processing, our hay, like all of our natural products, is subject to continuous quality controls for the greatest possible treatment success with the power of nature.

The release of essential oils and coumarin, which are calming and relaxing, has a positive effect on the back and neck muscles. The essential oils released in the hay have a calming, detoxifying, sleep-inducing, relaxing effect and can relieve rheumatic complaints.
Active agents: essential oils, coumarins, tannins and flavonoids.
Effects: stimulates metabolism, helps against rheumatic complaints, analgesic, detoxifying, draining, relaxing, decongestant, and calming.
Suitable for: rheumatic complaints, tensions, sleep disorders, and stress, for detoxification and drainage.
Moor Mud Therapy “Black Gold” – natural help against pain and tensions
The healing properties of the moor mud were discovered by observing sick animals that instinctively sought relief from their pain while bathing in moorland. The famous physician Paracelsus was one of the first to use the “Black Gold” deliberately in his therapies.
Moor mud contains a particularly large number of valuable active agents that have a positive influence on our bodies and our health. Over 400 different species of plants, medicinal herbs, seeds and leaves are found in the fresh Kurland® moor in Leopoldskron-Moos. That is why it is so particularly rich in humic acids, minerals and trace elements.
Moor mud supplies heat to stressed body regions, which usually also have a lower blood supply, in a targeted manner and thus promotes blood circulation.

Origin: 100 % pure, fresh moor mud from Leopoldskron-Moos in Salzburg.
Active agents: Contains a mix of active agents from about 400 different plants, valuable humic acids, minerals, and trace elements.
